[Welcome to the Emerald Quest! This RP will determine who, if anyone, gains possession of the red Chaos Emerald. The requirements for participating are few, but make sure to do/note the following first.
1. Have a biography for the character you're RPing as (or approved application for canon character).
2. Post a minimum of three sentences every time, as per requirements for this section of the forum.
3. Only two Emerald Radars are known to exist, one being Dr. Robotnik's and one being shared by Sonic & Co. Not to say they're impossible to make, but you'd better have a good reason if you have another.

"'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe
All mimsy were the borogoves
And the mome raths outgrabe."
And so did the nonsense verse echo over the hills and through the ancient ruins of marble, stained green by ivy and scorched clean by lava which had, yet, flowed onwards. The reciter of the stanza did not reveal himself or herself, yet the words rang through the area. Despite the liquid rock passing by, the whole (albeit cracked) whitish stone still stood as a lasting monument.
Why would anyone be in the area? Perhaps because of a certain sense of something new, something different, something...powerful. Or, perhaps, one in possession of devices made to detect Chaos Emeralds could recognize that there was one in the vicinity...but whether or how it might be found remained to be seen. With the volcanoes, the quarries, and recently the tremors racking South Island, the gem of power could be anywhere.
